My wife uses a Resmed Airsense 11 CPAP and a recent storm in Brisbane which resulted in a power outage, this meant she could not use her CPAP that night. We also go offgrid sometimes and wanted to make sure we could keep the CPAP running at night.

The first question was how much power does a Resmed Airsense 11 CPAP use, with the humidifier and heated hose. I set up a wifi power plug with usage and the answer was 275Wh overnight.

With that information, we had to pick a power station. Most didn’t seem to have enough watts to run the CPAP with the humidifier and heated hose, or only for one night. In the end we bought a Bluetti AC70 which has 768Wh, we also got the 200W solar blanket.

Recently while away where the house is offgrid she used the Bluetti, which would go for 2 nights before needing a charge. It was using a little more than 275Wh, likely due to efficiency loss. The Bluetti was quieter than the CPAP, which was all quieter than the waves crashing on the beach.

We had heaps of sun while we were away and the solar blanket would charge the Bluetti in 4 hours (we weren’t timing it to get the precise time), typically running between 130 to 150 watts.

Hopefully this is helpful for someone looking to solve the same problem and getting some good data.
